Meddie rolls Dimi in straights right into the Vienna final.
The Russian has been playing extremely well this week, from what I’ve seen. I don’t see anyone left taking him down, unless Coric finds an extra gear and doesn’t have shoulder problems again.

Poor Borna. I hope this isn't a chronic issue for him. Maybe w/ the off season he can get treatment and rest and get ready for Aus where I'll be excited to see his chances on those HC's

Wow, Alcaraz is playing like crap. :pile-of-poo:

Significant difference in first serve percentage, second serve percentage is awful for the Spaniard, and FAA is doing so well on serve he hasn’t even faced a BP.

He might be in Carlito's head a bit. Whatever it is, JCF and the teenager have to find a solution. Felix isn't going anywhere and could be his kryptonite going forward

Fall has always been weird with the ATP. It seems to wake up the underachievers into some kind of form, then when we start the year they go back to playing like crap when there are slams on the line.

Shapo through easily: 7-6, 6-0. I’m assuming Coric’s shoulder was acting up again? Plus, Denis has been playing very well, so maybe a combination.

I missed the 2nd set, because I blinked, but he seemed fine in the first. But yeah, that's what the score looks like. Shame, if he's hurt again.

In case you missed it yesterday, he had a medical timeout for his shoulder which is why I suspect it’s acting up again.

"Hold on there, younger pup...I was supposed to be the Promised One." ~ FAA to CAG.

But seriously, I still hold out hope that FAA is going to take another big step forward and be a true elite, even multi-Slam winner. If I were to project who would have the best careers going forward, from 2023 on, he'd be behind Alcaraz and Sinner, but probably ahead of everyone else.

But more on that in another thread...maybe time for a 2023 Predictions/Discussion!

Yes, I did miss that, thanks. Maybe I better rethink my draw challenge for Paris.

Rafa Nadal Academy student and Nadal protégé Felix Auger Aliassime is really playing well. He beat Alcaraz for a 3rd time and prevents him from gaining more ranking points giving a better chance for his hero Nadal to clinch the YE#1. Toni Nadal has trained him well.

Thank you for reading! :bye:
