I 've just read that Zverev has diabetes type 1 since he was 4 years old. He says that he went thought a very bad times in the school because some kids made fun of him when he was checking the sugar and using the injections, that's very sad  but I'm glad that he chose this sport and he can do so well, it's really very impressive!

I remember a few years ago he was checking blood sugars mid match & some idiot was accusing him of looking at his phone :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:

Nishioka was over-matched, but he does fight. Nick two-time champion in DC!

If Nick Kyrgios wins the doubles final with Jack Sock, Nick will be the first man in Washington DC tournament history to win singles and doubles in the same year.

I didn't watch the doubles, but that is terrific result. K-Sock beat a terrific team, but I will say this...Jack Sock may be trying to be the J-Mac of doubles players. The answer to best doubles team was him + anyone.

In regards to Dominic Thiem he is still scheduled to play Winston-Salem (WC) and also awaits for a WC at the USO,which he will received being a former champion.
No seed is going to want to see him early rounds at the Open.

I thought he was going to use his PR at the USO? is there a rule that you can only use a PR for so many tournaments?
Just went and read the rule,
You can use your PR ranking for the first nine tournaments /or up to nine months which ever comes first.

I got the updated news from a tennis journalist, saying he will await a wild card for the USO?...lets see
