Ralph is Out. No US Open. It's a DAMN shame. Speedy recovery towards Rafa and his team.

So predictable! It's amazing for someone who strives to be the GOAT! How much longer are we going to be subjected to this BS by Fedal? :-)2

I dunno Fiero, since when are injuries in sport BS ?

If anything, taking care of his body has actually extended Nadal’s career far beyond what the naysayers predicted and hoped.

But that's the thing! It isn't just injury when it comcerns these players! A lot of it has to do with age! In the past the game didn't move this fast and older players could hang in there! Rafa's still trying to play the same way he did at 15 which is as stupid AF! He has a good net game, but over the last decade he's allowed "WC, Qualifiers, nobodies, & never-weres" to extend him to the limit! It's hard to feel ANYTHING for players who do this to their bodies; esp. someone like Murray! No one has to play that much of a defensive game, being run to death, then whine about being tired or hurt! Screw that; "stretch like Djokovic and save yourself!"

See? Now you think some people are over-playing. LOL. Kidding, I saw that, too, and thought it was a huge mistake. I hope he withdraws. He's having a good year, and has done well at the USO. He definitely shouldn't play next week.

He won't withdraw. If he has simply signed up for the tournament, there are chances that he will withdraw. Given that he sought and got WC which would have happened very recently, I think he won't withdraw.

Maybe he feels like he needs a certain number of matches before the USO. Perhaps he will play once or twice and then bow out.

The National Tennis Centre will be closed on Sunday as a precaution against the weather as hurricane Henri is expected to cause issues
The BJK one? No surprise. Most everything will be closed in the NYC/Long Island area tomorrow.

What are people’s thoughts on the second article regarding Zverev and his ex-girlfriend about abuse?

I am more inclined to believe something happened now to the extent I am not sure, but the allegations aren’t going away it seems.

Zverev continues to deny all allegations against him from his former girlfriend,he has also hired lawyers to defend these current allegations.Fact of the matter is,the former girlfriend has never gone to the police with these allegations of abuse from Zverev? I cannot understand why she didn't lay charges against him in the first place.

Roger Federer become the 'first tennis Billionaire" and is the sixth athlete to do so.Federer has earned more than $1 billions as of now.Out of this,$900 million came from off the court endorsements while he raised the remaining $131 million from his prize money.

I don't think so! I believe the biggest con artist in tennis who managed some of the best players in the world, robbing them blind is Ion Tiriac! He owns tournaments including Madrid Masters! IIRC when he wanted a front row seat at the FO, they actually installed them courtside taking some of the sideline away! I have to believe Tiriac was the 1st tennis billionaire; may have heard the number $2B when watching a match years ago! :astonished-face:

Just heard from the Victorian Government if people are not vaccinated they will not be allowed into sporting events, restaurants, hotels etc.
If fans want to attend the AO in 2022 I would assume fans will have to be fully vaccinated if they want to attend..

Any news on if they will insist that the players be vaccinated?
