Wimbledon has the tradition of Middle Sunday where play is paused (so that wealthy locals can go for shopping?) leading to Manic Monday where all sweet 16 matches of both men and women are played. However, they have decided to get rid of this tradition too starting from year 2023. So, we have only two more years of Manic Monday when tennis fans go crazy like a kid in candy store. Savor it before it is gone.

Milos Raonic withdraws from Wimbledon due to a calf injury
Raonic is one of those that have fallen on my "is he even still playing?" list? Harsh, but true. Someone mentioned Kevin Anderson the other day in relation to Wimbledon, and I felt like..."seriously?" May seem harsh, but some guys who were players not long ago seem to really have fallen off of the radar. Is that just me?

Apparently he asked for a WC to Mallorca tournament, though they had already been allocated,I thought he would play Wimbledon, surprised by this withdrawal, though he said he picked it up in practice and would not be 100% fit for Wimbledon,I am trying to remember the last time Milos played a tournament? 'is he even still playing list?' my sentiments exactly.

Yeah, I feel bad about some of the guys, but, between pandemic and injury, some guys who were really featuring 2-3 years ago have really dropped off the radar. Milos was a finalist at Wimbledon, Anderson at Wimbledon and the USO. Cilic has been struggling, but he's still out there. Rather same with Nishikori, though kinda faring better. If Nick Kyrgios weren't so unforgettable, I'd have forgotten about him by now. I've basically forgotten about Stan Wawrinka, except that you told me he's not playing Wimbledon...which barely even qualifies as news anymore. I'm not trying to be harsh, but, while we keep on with the Fedalovic wars, and what the Next Gen is doing, we (or at least I) have lost sight of some guys who were "players" not that long ago. Just odd.

He had a good run last year in Cincinnati if I recall well, played final against Novak, even won a set. Milos is like every time he comes back and starts playing good again he gets injured, his whole career seems to be like this, but much more in recent years. Sad.

Being that tall, it has to cause some serious knee and ankle issues! Dr. IVO the only one I can think of who hasn't had extended time from tour!

Think Front has asked where is Dr. Ivo these days. Not sure if he had some injury recently because he hasn't played for a while, but he is scheduled to come back in Wimbledon quallies.

Raonic is just one more in the bunch of those who were denied by Great 3. Now try to count them all.

Kind of a shame making him qualify at his age and giving WCs to UK nobodies. Karlovic would spice up the draw big time but may not make it past 3 qualifying rounds.
