Roof shoul've been closed BEFORE each of the semifinals, not DURING it. Ridiculous to be playing tennis or any sports where the temp was near 40 degrees. Now if it's true waht they're saying about climate change especially here, it makes sense to move the AO to april date and BO3 men and women matches, period.

How much more easy do we want to make it on today's stars? It was bad enough when the "powers that be" decided to go "BO3" at Masters events; even the YEC! That's allowed Fedalovic to rack up about 30 "M1000's" each when in the old days, even with our brightest and best, they got nowhere near that # of wins! We're already handing over "Fort Knox" at the lamest of tennis events, now we want to undermine the whole sport by taking MAJORS to BO3? It was bad enough when the USO was doing it to speed up play or "catch up" due to inclement weather over 40 years ago! I understand where you're coming from, but with conditioning and coaching, today's elite players will manage without another "leg up" to inflate their resumes and wallets! Give the rest of the tour a bone FFS!
