What annoys me about the whole thing is Novak has been very vocal over what he feels were draconian measures by the USO as their planned protocol. It is precisely because of this disregard of social distancing, and quite frankly, common sense that they (the USO) feel they need to be extra cautious.
It gives homeopathic/natural advocates a bad name when Mr. Anti Vaccine Novak doesn't use even frigging normal caution in the middle of a pandemic to stage a tournament with a reckless disregard for people's safety.
Another one, Troicki has given positive and his wife is expecting the baby soon too. My question is if these players have brain or an a** .
Meanwhile Novak came back to Belgrado to get the test and he will know the result tomorrow. My another question is if he would be positive or negative he will tell the true?
I think she is expecting the baby soon but she has given positive too, and we'll see who will be the next one, that's crazy!!!!I hope Vicktor's wife is not in her third trimester (more than 28 weeks) she should be 'social distancing and minimise any contact with others, than her immediate family, eg husband.

I can't understand in what world these people were living before to start the exhibition and I'm not talking only about the players but also the Government and Health Department of SerbiaAgain that is totally irresponsible if she is expecting soon, she should have stayed home, her doctor should have told her that,a lot of woman should not be travelling at all,if they are close to giving birth, regardless of being in the middle of a pandemic.

The numbers in parts of the Balkans had low cases of coronavirus compared to other parts of the world, still they should have followed the protocals that have been in place....'social distancing' for all involved. Not playing to packed stadiums with fans.Players and officials should have had their temps taken every day as a added precaution.
I read earlier that, while most of the guys, even the ones who tested negative, are self-isolating. However, that Novak flew back to Belgrade before being tested. Even if he took a private plane, he's risking exposure to some people, and including taking it back to Serbia. Here's the crazy thing, they are EUROPEANS....UK, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands , Sweden, etc who were very hard hit are just a quick plane trip away. Those governments should realize their countries aren't covid proof despite their low numbers. The players in particular I'm shocked at, their fellow tennis players' countries have been slammed by the Covid, and unless they are deaf, dumb and blind they had to know the seriousness of the situation for goodness sake.
What the hell were Zverev and Thiem doing there? They are from Western European countries where the safety protocols should have been drilled into their heads...

Can’t believe Troicki’s pregnant wife tested positive

I really don't understand being so aggressively flagrant about the current global norms of behavior during the pandemic. They will have noticed that their entire tour has been stopped for 3 months for a reason. It was almost like a protest against such caution. I mean, they actively ignored what every other little attempt at tennis exho's is doing right now. No matter what the government was allowing, they could have gone a more responsible route.
I don't see how the ATP/ITF can fine them if there aren't specific rules governing tennis events globally during this period. But besides being now a health catastrophe, it's also a PR one, particularly for Novak, so that's going to have more impact than a fine on a multi-millionaire.
I mean, seriously. I saw this photo in a tweet from some tennis journalist (don't remember who) last week, even, with the comment: 'Don't they have liability laws in Serbia? Because this looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.' And he wrote this before the sh*t hit the fan.

Not surprising. He's world #1 AND the head of the player's council, and these were the choices he made. At the very least, he's shown a massive lack of good judgement. He's responsible for the interests of players, and he has recklessly exposed some to illness.I read some players want him off the player's council because of his actions regarding this tour.
UTR is pushing for it, I'd say...they've sponsored an exho tour. Maybe this one needs a thread. This could be the perfect time to start ranking players based on UTR rather than points.
