They know, and they’re both taking it deadly seriously. I think one of their biggest problems going forward will be their nerves. I practically hold my breath when either of them are serving to stay in a set, for example, waiting to see if they get broken. I worry about Roger in terms of his age, and whether or not his energy can be maintained throughout a major, but also knowing he’s always taking it deadly seriously, IMO.

Yes but the fight is way different now. For about 10 years Roger has fought to add to an unparalleled career. Now he is fighting to keep it great. Different pressure especially because of age.

Usually, I will be very excited for the Manic Monday as there will be lot of interesting matches and tennis fans will feel like a kid in a candy store. However, this year due to the large number of upsets, the star power in these R16 matches are lost. There are very few exciting matches that involves players with name recognition.

Why is this year especially dull for you? Seriously?

It is time to check with the bookies after a week of drama and lot of upsets.

Here are the current odds for those with a puncher's chance or better.

1. Novak 4/5 (55.55%)
2. Federer 7/2 (22.22%)
3. Nadal 15/4 (21.05%)

4. Milos Raonic 22 (4.35%)

5. Uncle Sam 60 (1.64%)
6. RBA 66 (1.5%)
7. Berrettini / Special K 80 (1.23%)
9. Goffin 100 (1%)

The long list of pretenders is now narrowed to a single person, Milos.

Do you seriously think we have many interesting matches on this Manic Monday. Fed vs. Berretini will be interesting as there is a possibility of an upset. But, almost others are either straightforward or one would not bother who wins.

That still seems too high.
If Zverev received initially almost similar odds, this does not seem high.
At least Milos was several times in final stages in this slam vs. Sasha who has never been close to it.

After all these years people still go to the net with really poor ball against Nadal. Good luck with that.

A million breaks of serves across the matches to start 2nd week of this "grass" event. Fucking pathetic, still hoping for that tournament director to retire or have a heart attack

Pella doing way better here than in RG  Sousa says his favourite surface is clay, but here he is in R4 on centre court.

And I saw in the Milos vs. Opelka match rallies up to 10 shots or so...

What's up with the scruffy trend?
Paire, Khachanov, the Italian doll, now I see Sundgren too.
