shapo is 15-15 this season,

19yr old serb mirmio movsumfing?. played in turkey on sat and in london on monday. probably a rare double.
Lorenzo Sonego did the same thing.
Both were unlucky to play on Monday after their final in Turkey.

Today he may have held his own, but lately he hasn't done too well. He is slipping backwards in ranking, not the trend you hope at 21. He takes turns with Fritz it seems.
I get that they're both sort of promising, and sort of don't take the next step, but given the glass ceiling up there, I don't think their doing so poorly. Fognini may not be fab on grass, but he's more seasoned. It would have been an upset if Tiafoe took him out, and still he took him to 5.

Matteo gave me an early scare today. Lost the first set, then got broken in his first service game in the second.
But then, he showed why he played so well recently, turned it around and won in 4.

I have to say, I think there are a lot of potentially interesting matches on the men's side tomorrow. It's easier to call out the ones that won't be tricky. Djokovic will sail through. Next Gen contest between FAA and Moutet should also be straightforward. Most of the rest? Who knows? Could be fun. Some interesting match ups.

Roger is the King of Wimbledon, for sure, though not the King of England. So what is this "queen's justice" that we're in need of? I guess that makes you the queen. :p

If dressing up as the Queen of England guarantees a certain player's swift exit I will be more than willing.

I like Fog but him beating Tiafoe here is not a good sign for playing conditions. Must be slow as shit already.
The word from the players is that it's playing very slow, but also with a very low bounce, from what I've heard. Fog is not just a clay-courter, and Tiafoe is not necessarily in F3's league, so I wouldn't take that as a sign.

I saw a bit of Serena's match. In the little I saw she was having problems overpowering the 50 pound gnat across the net.

Just imagining that makes me so happy. But you failed to use the capital letter, and so the queen you'd have to dress up as isn't as staid and covered up as you'd like. Just sayin'.

thug will roast dull tomorrow
Aside from your never-ending trollish fandom, you know that Kyrgios went 5 sets today, and Nadal cleared out his match in a quick 3. Sure, there's reason to think that Nick has a chance v. Rafa, but, let's face it, not really an emphatic or imperious one. You tend to post what you "hope" will happen, whether it has anything to do with reality or not. And on that point, the match isn't tomorrow. B-)

That looks like one of the "gals" from the La Cage aux Folles I took the Missus to. I had no idea what the play was about...until I got there.

And who says I don't dress the part at home
I don't need a costume upgrade :dance1:

FAA vs. Moutet would be far from straight forward. I actually expect that match to go to five sets.

Could be...I haven't scouted Moutet much. But FAA has a game that I think is suited to grass, and since they're both young, I'd say FAA has much more experience in the limelight.

This green clay is an abomination. They can't even let it be fast in the first week. Is it a type of weed they're growing so the groundsmen can smoke it after the day's play?
