I don't think JMac is jealous of Roger. I just think he likes Rafa's brash. I don't think he relates to Roger.

We’ll have to agree to disagree, then. His comments in the past along the lines of “Can’t he let someone else win?” Or “How many does he need?” speak to jealousy, IMO.

I want to see Rafa pulling out the big weapons, but he hasn't so much.

Yeah, but it's not one I'd apply to Rafa. He's as dull as a brush.
I suppose that's the basic difference between a Fed fan view of the world and a Rafa fan one.

Matteo down 2 sets to 0. I think there is about zero percent chance of him winning the next 3 sets against Rafa.

2 sets to love. Still, fantastic fight from the young Italian. This is less straight-forward than I thought it would be.

Can/will Berrettini stay optimistic in the third? Or will he go away?
I like his attitude. I think he'll fight for it, even if he loses in straights.

I agree. It's not in him to give up. When he served for the match against Monf and choked, he got back on his horse and pulled it out.

If nothing else, Berrettini has youth on his side. He doesn’t look like he’s about to crumble. I don’t know of any current injuries, so at least physically he should be able to go the distance here.

He had an ankle injury earlier this year. It's why he wears those ankle braces
