Rublev is in the zone this week. I am not convinced this form is lasting though. Last week he lost early.

Watching it now and still can't believe PCB gave the match away! Rublev was frustrated, slamming his racket, and all but out of the match down a set! He had already dodged being down 2 breaks in the 2nd! The rest is history with another one of those colossal choke jobs; no doubt about it! :nono:  :banghead: :cuckoo:   :ptennis:

I missed the match, I thought it would be later. Basilashvili defends his title in Hamburg by beating Rublev in 3 sets. Quite an accomplishment considering his form recently.

Why was this final match scheduled so early? It started at noon local time. I just lied down after lunch looking for some tennis. I watched one game :D

Yes, mostly around that time. I tought my tennis afternoon is secured and now is empty. I can't force myself to watch Stebe Ramos in Gastad which will start soon.

Rublev used up all his luck and magic yesterday to get out "from under" against PCB in the semi-finals! "Zoning" only works so long!
