Rafa’s ball is heavier, apples and oranges.
Yeah, that's the point.

the kid is getting his ass kicked BIG TIME !
Novak rose from the dead at just the right time, otherwise Federer's GS record would have been toast. Last year's Wimbledon, this AO, and the next FO would have been in the bag.
This is just an observation by the way, and I'm not bemoaning anything, since all 3 of them have benefited from the other two's ups and downs over the years.
You kiss your mother with that mouth? You still think Roger aged well? Particularly in his early 30's when he won nothing?
The record is toast if the cunt wins this tournament. As for Novak I'd say he's stopped Roger even more than he's stopped Nadal. And as I've said, the majors is Roger's easiest record to break. He underachieved there given how many opportunities he's had.
Good lord. We may have a bagel.

I have to say, this is the best version of Rafa I've ever seen. If this fella can't beat Novak, I'm not sure what further changes he can make

More than one person has pointed out that you don't need to break it all out early in the tournament.Funny how de Minaur and Tiafoe might end up having won more games vs. Nadal
it always looks better in hindsight mate. This is at least as good imho. And his backhand is on another level, he's coming forward more. The whole packageI disagree. This performance is great, no doubt, in terms of ball-striking, but the serve isn't up to his 2010 US Open or 2013 US Open standards (not even close), and there's a reason he beat Novak at both of those tournaments. Without a serve, he has no chance vs. Novak on hards. He'll have to serve significantly better in the final.
