Just saw on Tennis Channel that Andy Murray will be playing Cincy singles
I don’t follow tennis politics that much. Does it mean that Djokovic is being pushed aside with the return of Federer and Nadal to the council?

Andy Murray will not play singles at USO,instead he plans to play doubles and mixed doubles.
A guy who has won the tournament is a deserving player. Whomever would have been bumped down to qualies due to Murray's PR would have had a snowball's chance in Hell of winning it, anyway. It would be terribly unfair for him to take a spot from a more deserving player! It would be different if he hadn't retired & had a "PR!"

Murray would be in line for a WC.....remember he is a former champion.
I didn't say it was illegal; just unfair! It's on a whim & he won't have any better chance of winning than a quali.! He's not coming back!
Fiero tends to keep it at an 11.Calm down
Fiero tends to keep it at an 11.
The reference is to the film "This is Spinal Tap," which is a faux documentary of a metal band. All amplifiers go to 10. Spinal Tap just wanted to be louder, so they took it to "11." The implication is "way over the top." If you've never seen the film, it's very funny.Damn, that I could not get, not even googling it. Care to explain to non-natives?
You nailed it, Horsa.Yes. I can't really say anything. I find it hard to keep calm at times. Lol. :0)
Margaret says he's going to play Winston-Salem next week in singles. I think you're right he has to take it slow, and it seems that he's going to.why is murray playing singles in a masters event after hardly any matches in over 2 years ?, to see where he is at ?..well he lost to anther old post injury bloke, so...??.
surely he'd be better off playing challenger singles or even next weeks atp250 tourney, maybe he still will play nest week. good news he avoids usopen singles. too much.
GSM probably not so interested. Rafa hasn't been out of the top 10 since April 2005. All of the other Big 3 have dropped out at some point, and Rafa passed Roger with most weeks in the Top 10, at least of active players, sometime last Spring. (May, I think...I believe @rafanoy1992 noted that one. He may know best.)Rafael's tenure in the top 10 and twenty is astounding. Since 2005 he has been in the top 20. He maybe the only player whose ranking never fallen out of the top ten. GSM.aka statboy ..can you vett this please.
