These are long points. I don't think you'd have liked them. Do you prefer it like the first 2 games, when it was all serve, then move to the next side?

They are boring, all tennis between these trees are going to suck. But the tournament would be just fine with real grass but God forbid they play on a surface suited for Federer. This garbage has held him back big time.

At most 3 shots per point. If there are more than 3, it's like playing at AO, RG or UO. There is hardly any difference between the slams now.

Remember this is not limited to these forums alone. Many tennis experts are saying the same about the grass at Wimbledon.

An average of 3 shots per point is not realistic in today's game.

The only people that like this grass are Nadal and Djoker fans. It's quite self-serving of course. Meanwhile Roger has suffered the most for this garbage.

Anderson is actually quite a good player and I hope he wins this, even though Isner also got better through time. Anderson's forehand is quite a good one, and people should check the running forehand pass he made on the breaker if in doubt.

So do Fed fans want Isner to win because Anderson beat Fed?
I was thinking perhaps if Anderson won the whole thing, it would validate that no one could have beat him that day, including Fed?
Thoughts?

I want Isner to win because he wouldn't be a total layup in the final like Anderson. His serve gives him a chance, Anderson will lay down like a dog for his good friend Rafa.

I don't think both the semifinals would be finished today. Rafa/Novak would probably need to come back again tomorrow to continue.

If the roof is closed, are they going to stop the matches at 9 pm as well?

I was wondering about this. Can't they move it to Court no 1? CC does have lights so I think they can keep going until 11pm no? @Federberg knows whats up with this I think?

These two 'clowns' to borrow DF and front's expression, are delaying the party.

Isner has vastly improved. He is getting to low balls, making difficult volleys that he used to struggle with.

Isner breaks back straight away. Lame game from Anderson. Really poor decisions.

Whoever wins this match is toast in the final.
