I hope Anderson wins the whole thing, but he could be emotionally drained.

I knew it was over after the third set. I've seen Roger implode countless times.

Cmon I don't think even you would've thought Anderson would have 23 consecutive holds. That's just crazy.

Anybody watch Coffee Break Tennis on YouTube? I left a comment last night telling Matt Bradshaw to STFU with his stupid stats and to stop jinxing Roger. Did he listen? NOPE. And now Roger's joked away another 2 sets to none match at Wimbledon. Oy...when are these idiots on YT going to learn to stop talking so much shite in the early rounds. Stats from previous matches don't mean squat in the match you're playing. Especially not a Wimbledon.

Wow, I understand frustration, but relax these stumbles happen. Every player has them. Federer was quite generous today for some reason.

Can you imagine this happening to Nadal at RG? LOL this is the difference between dominating clay and grass.

knew my gut feeling was right about fed not winning this year. give rafa the trophy but hella interested in seeing rafa-nole. thatll be the real final

My gut feeling was that he wasn'g going to win either...especially after he lost Halle. Didn't see the match...just the score...but clearly Roger should have won this sucker in 3 sets. Seems like another IW choke...

So this is going to be the most awful day in sports ever capped off with England beating Croatia.

If Nadal wins Wimbledon, it's the end of tennis for me.

There is nothing to figure out. He'll probably play a bit more to keep UNIQLO happy. But he can't make it out of this hole. Not at 37. He'll play for money. Sad.
Roger better figure his head out quickly. If he is satisfied with 20 and wants to chance Nadal's future then so be it, hang up the racket. You can't lose to a cupcake like this in such a huge match and keep on playing. But if he is forward thinking he has to fight and you can't get anymore pathetic than this. Leaving the door wide the fuck open for Nadal. Whoever comes out of that semi is getting an absolute cupcake in the final

LOL, Anderson isn't winning anything big. He won't win the semi and even if he did he'd win 5 games in the final.
I agree. Anderson is average at best, but Roger made him look like a star player.

It wouldn't happen to Nadal indoors. This is the difference between Roger and Nadal...Fed is a ton more talented than Rafa but he has major mental weakness when things don't go according to plan. Fed is mentally tough in many aspects but the guy chokes as soon as he doesn't win match point. It's pretty much the only thing that's plagued him most of his career.

To go from a high like winning 20 slams at AO 18 to an excruciating low like this is unimaginable.

Anderson doesn't have the balls to win against Nadal. These DP/Anderson types can beat a choking Fed but not evenan injured Nadal. That takes balls. At least I am happy the tournament director got a shitty final for pis&ing on the grass.

I'm suffering with some personal issues and Fed's going through a bad period too. Not sure if this happens to other Fed fans where your lows coincide Fed's lows.

Mon, you are wrong here. It's not clay. It's Nadal. Nadal will not do this even on grass. Rafa's entire game is predicated upon margins and drawing errors with relentless defense. He is a man of his time. Roger is a 20th century player playing in the 21st.
