I wish Djoker win this and then we could say "Old squad is back" - The Big Three. Since Nadal and Fedex already won GS after injury.
But its not Final jet, so...2 wins needed.
I don't know what you mean by the bolded above. However, you do have to say that he's been self-serving about not liking it, so don't cast so many stones.
I don't agree with that. Roger at his best with his new backhand? That's a match I've been waiting to see. He would certainly have dusted off this incarnation of Roger. Don't know what's wrong with the fella. Probably didn't play much on his breakMox, if Nole plays anything like the first set it's over. We all know the matchup dynamic when Nole is at or near his best. I will admit that the level he had in the first set would've toppled Roger here even if Fed had got to the final in decent form. The reason I think Roger would've won that final, and the reason I think Nadal will win tomorrow, is that Nole mentally and even physically (fitness-wise) isn't all the way back.
I don't know Moxie. Making self serving representations for rankings changes and wanting the WTF finals on clay doesn't seem very zen to me...#tiredsad #stuffuknowlittleabout #whatfansthink
Do you actually think that Rafa isn't one of the better at accepting what is directly in front of him and moving on?
Ok you got me intrigued. Apart from Hawkeye what exactly does Roger bitch about? He gave his OPINION on the issue and then moved on, as has Federer on other things. It's not as if Federer doesn't bitch about what's important to him. The thing about Nadal is that once it's done, it's done.
nah.. it's more like 95% if we want to be really accurateMy observations tend to agree with Moxie's original assessment that about "80% of monfed's posts be name-calling, whining and complaining". The other 20% are mainly:
- observations and analysis of his idol's game, picking up only those aspects that give Fed an advantage over the field and denigrating the opponent game aspects as "dull", thus reinforcing his image of Fed being the only GOAT. In psychology, we call it "cherry picking".
- developing fantasy images "what if" his idol had not suffered a "bad luck" and thus had won far more than he actually did. Predictably, contrasting said "bad luck" with unbelievably good luck his opponents enjoy. Those images are surprisingly complex. In appreciation of the richness of those visions, I call them an alternative ATP world. Experts call it more brutally: "escaping from inconvenient reality".
- constantly seeking approvals among other posters here, to validate in his mind the veracity of his alternation world. In psychology, we call it "rationalisation".
I agree said 80% of monfed's posts are so abominable and disgusting especially as seen by women, that it feels like 99.99%. But if we look objectively at avatar monfed's overall activity here, including the remaining 20% I sistred above, we get a bit of insight into a person standing behind it.
Monfed said once in passing that he had "personality issues". Yeah, very truthful self admition. Monfed, buddy, I like your honesty. You need to be proud of it but you also need to know when to use it and when to forget it, otherwise BS starts happening around you. For example, shouting at women because they are talking "nonsense" that you do not understand is not gonna help ya but only worsen your "personality issues". Take care and Fed be with you according to your name!
Rafa was doing everything right. Neutralising the point was actually good for him. Novak wasn't able to hang with him from the baseline apart from in the first set. The only thing that went wrong for Rafa was that at the end of that tie break he lost his nerveNadal has to penetrate the court better, and stop neutralizing the point. He has to be more aggressive, or he'll lose.
I don't agree with that. Roger at his best with his new backhand? That's a match I've been waiting to see. He would certainly have dusted off this incarnation of Roger. Don't know what's wrong with the fella. Probably didn't play much on his break
I don't think Roger was in great form in Stuttgart mate. That was just pure excitement about returning to the game. His base form was the same as in this tournamentThe Djoker from set 1 was basically 2011/2015. It was frightening stuff and 6-4 didn't really do it justice. And I mean Federer in decent form (like Stuttgart and the first few Wimbledon matches) not great form from last year.
But I would've been intrigued to see it in 2017 and early 2018 if Djokovic hadn't fallen off. Fed would've mopped him with the way both were playing and Nole did a nice job dodging it, something Fed didn't do in his down periods since 2011.
I was nearest then. I was only 4.99% out. Aren't I good? Lol.nah.. it's more like 95% if we want to be really accurate
a large part of that is they are afraid of each others court coverage and they're playing conservative at the start of this setMaybe it's me, but it looks like their shots lack court penetration. Why can't they hot more winners grass.
