I'm imagining that Martina N. is getting nervous that Serena gets # 8 this year. Suddenly Martina's 9 Wimbledon titles wont' look so impossible to match or even best.

Most players seem to accept their legacy when they're done but Martina N.IMO, is the exception, she thrives on defending her legacy any chance she can.

How long collectively were the two ladies semis this year ? The men was 9 hours... and with more to play.

Similarly the ladies quarterfinals vs the duration of the mens two four setters and two 5 setters.

I think the match of the tournament was the QF match between Kerbie and Dasha. Although, it was just a two set match, it had lots of interesting points and was very entertaining.

The concept of equal prize money in tennis is laughable. I say this as a woman.
