And yet he's not had a break point against him. Not bad..
Yup. Very clean so far. Mannarino is no gimme. Hopefully the 5 setter has worn him out a bit
Exactly. In a way he's the perfect opponent to get Roger ready for the tougher matches ahead. But I don't really want a tough test. Would be quite happy with another series of easy contests and 21Mannarino is annoying and someone you don't want to see on an erratic day. If Fed is dialed in it's a massacre, otherwise the guy can hang around and take advantage of drops in play.
So you know who I'll be rooting for. :whistle:Mannarino is annoying and someone you don't want to see on an erratic day. If Fed is dialed in it's a massacre, otherwise the guy can hang around and take advantage of drops in play.
That is what they did.No. They put them on too late. Why didn't they start earlier? They should have moved their match to an outside court
I still think they waited too long to move them. They had all these doubs matches going on, which could be delayed or even played tomorrow. That is what they did.

It's a joke. Geez you are mighty touchy these days...You rooting for royalty to go out to your doll? Shame KS. This tourney is everything with the threat of the pleb and his draw on the garbage grass.
First time in long time we have more U.S. men still in the tourney than U.S. women. Serena is left standing on the women's side. Tiafoe, Isznah and a couple of others still around no?

Have you checked out Alex De Minaur. He is exactly the type of player whom Rafa would hate to play. Alex is out and out aggressive player. He may cause an upset. Alex's serve is not big, but decent. But, he has aggression in every bone. He does not come in on every ball like Mischa, but he has decent net play. More later on him in the upset thread.
His primary weakness is backhand, even though he plays two handed BH. If Rafa can recognize it and keep pounding his backhand, Rafa will win it though.
