Were there less folks in the chat room today due to absence of Fedal? Just asking, don't know the facts.

I'm out for the night. Gotta get ready for the Pack/Bears. Good tourney for JMDP. Even better one for Djoke. Fed, Nadal and the young guns, not so much. That ends the 2018 slam season w/ Novak claiming 2 and Fedal one each.

He could pass both Federer and Nadal.

It would be nice! I just can't believe how the record books are and will continue to skew for Fedalovic with no other players really even close! How in TF will any player be able to be consistent enough to break any of their records? I just scan it and SMH! :nono: :cuckoo:

This one was probably the toughest Open I have seen in years. Brutal conditions and slower surface did not even help the folks that prefer the slower surface. Rafa hurt himself, Roger could not handle the conditions, young guys are nowhere near ready...So...
Much respect to Novak. Well deserved win. Congrats to his fans as well. It looked shaky for a while at the beginning of the year. Your man came back like Arnold.

About time for Novak to add another US trophy, seems like he is in pretty good physical condition. Unfortunately Fedal really start to show their age, but even the greatest cannot escape that reality.
