He was going to be like that no matter where he went. I remember when the Bulls were courting him to come here before Thibs left. It would never have worked. He doesn't play any defense and just jacks up shots at will like his buddy Russ.

Yeah I like Melo but he's just a volume shooter and always was. He was good enough in his prime to be a plus player and he will be a HOF'er but he isn't helping anyone at this point.

Still could go 7 and if it does OKC wins so the Jazz need to take this in 6.

Pelicans are just destroying them. I figured they'd win in 6 or 7 but this is crazy.

Philly got Embiid back, DWade returned to being the old man DWade and that series should be done in 5. They are tough, I hope they make the ECF at the very least.

Indy is just really frickin fast, I'm impressed with how they're closing out on all the shooters. They're doing the best I've seen in keeping up against a LeBron-led team. With that dude's vision and passing ability it is damn tough but the Pacers are getting it done. It's going to be tough for the LeBrons to turn this one around.

Well I will happily take a Bucks win over the money. They showed up big tonight but it's only a series if they also win Sunday. Wish they played half this hard on a consistent basis.

Nah, I know I should but stuff came up and honestly they will probably have a letdown tomorrow. The papers ripping on the whole team is what led to yesterday. Now if you shower Jabari, Drew Bledsoe and others with praise they will do jack again. Also don't expect that same effort from Thon Maker. That guy physically has enormous upside though, tall, very long and extremely athletic. He needs meat on his bones and a better mind and he'd be great.

I have to say though that, yesterday notwithstanding, he is incredibly sharp for his age. And he doesn't BS anything, I just get the sense he wants everyone to just play well. Hell I'd take that geezer over Prunty any day.

Not too many NBA commentators that I do like. I used to listen to Bill Walton. I like Avery Johnson and Mark (old Dubs coach) is OK.
