Kyle Edmund I hope can pull a win off,but it's Cilic in 4 or 5 for me in this one.

I'd love a British win as we don't get many so it's nice when we do get a win. I say with optimism rather than realism.

Watch out for a Cilic implosion, but one thing I am quite sure is that this goes to five. Hopefully 27-25...

As much as I want Kyle to win, I really wouldn't be surprised if Cilic takes this in 3. He's an established top 10 player who's been here before. His issue has always been taking on the really top guys at the end of the fortnight. It's not clear to me his experience doesn't easily carry the day here. He knows a lot more about taking care of business than Grigor

You're right, @Federberg. Cilic does not usually fold to lower ranked players (he is not mister consistency, though). So, yes, experience should help him here and gives him more of an edge that I was willing to admit at first. But take a look at the guys Edmund beat. He got past quality players, some who can hit really big too, so he may make a match out of it by his own merit.

That's what I'm hoping for bro. (1) because I genuinely want Kyle to do well and he's someone I support as a fellow Brit (2) I would far rather Roger faces Kyle in a final than Cilic. Marin might have revenge on his mind, no need to tempt fate :D

Yeah I agree, it’s going to be tough for edmund. Unchartered territory for him, not for cilic.

Still voted for edmund in 5 cause I hope he wins.

Not too sad if cilic would win, he has a better chance against Fed. If Fed loses before, well, I then just really hope cilic loses as well. Would be a sneaky slam win for cough drop.

I like Kyle, but I have to think Cilic will win. Probably in 3.

Ha! Very complicated. So you both want a British winner & you don't. You want Kyle to win as he's British but you don't as you want Roger to win as he's your favourite player so you want the worst player to win so your favourite player has less competition. You Either want Kyle to win or Roger.

Sort of :) Although I don't think Kyle is the worst player left

:0) Definitely not. I think he shows potential. Just because he hasn't had previous success doesn't mean he should be written off as a bad player but should be seen as a future hope. Everyone starts somewhere & everyone deserves a chance.

Even by ranking I don't think he's the lowest ranked player left

It depends... did Edmund vote for Brexit?
