because berdych or tsonga did not have so many injuries and still sucked at the same level as jmdp

DP beat a terrible version of Nole and Rafa at Olympics

Darth now that's misleading. Obviously he barely played throughout that stretch and when he did he was recovering and not in form. But when he actually does play well throughout a tournament, he's much better than these guys. I'm not saying this tournament he's played great, but DP playing well is better than those guys.

Del Potro was a potential elite, and was felled by injury. That is different. He had a such better ceiling than either Berdych or even Tsonga.

DP playing well is this tourney. Looks a lot different than what it used to look like

Key word is HAD. He's not better than either of those guys post-injury

For one tournament he did. Biggest choke of Feds career to give him a win

OK, let's say I agree with that Darth. Wouldn't you say Berdych is say, a top 10-15 player for the past decade or so?

I can't agree with that Darth. Tsonga is almost non-existent the last year. DP much better than him for sure

Tsonga looks washed up and is injured himself

So saying DP is close to that level now, still means he's a good player even now.
