Cali, Nadal has destroyed Murray with the forehand, in most of their meetings. What are you talking about? And he beat Federer so many times mostly due to Fed not having an answer for the forehand to backhand CC exchanges (among other reasons, I can't debate that). So yes, it does.

I disagree that Rafa didn't look tired at the AO final this year, but we all see what we like. I thought he was lackluster basically throughout.

I'm not sure if people just remember that one AO 2010 meeting between Nadal and Murray but other than that, for the most part, Nadal's dominated him, even in rallies.

Oh wow Nadal hit lame CC forehands at Fed's backhand 20 times until Federer missed. Is that stamina at work or an amazing shot? That's stamina.

And yet Roger was great at Wimby 08 to you. Yes we see things how we like

Also, please don't take that as an excuse as Fed has been a better player than Nadal on hards this year and proved it at IW and Miami when he crushed him, but Nadal definitely look tired in the AO final

Rafa served like 80% first serves in set 5 and was flying around the court

The greatest forehand in tennis history would not have had so many putrid performances against top players.

Please don't take mono as an excuse but Roger looked slow and weak in 08 final. Agree?

Cali, why couldn't Fed do much against that shot in that 20 stroke rally?

When Fed lost it was not because he could not hit his forehand through the court.

Federer's BH surprised Nadal in that match "down under!" Normally Rafa kicks it up high on that one-hander, but Roger rocketed back quite a few that surprised everyone!

Never called it the greatest forehand in history. That is clearly Fed's.

Because Fed's own backhand was weak and he refused to take full advantage of his FH opportunities.

I've always agreed Roger looked too languid in the first 2 sets of 2008 Wimby.

Fed was way too conservative with his own forehand against Nadal. It was unnecessary.

Why was he producing so many UE's? He's the greatest shotmaker of all time, after Nalbandian in your mind.

(Roger is far and away the greatest shot maker of all time though)

He didn't look good at any point in that final. And given Rafa's losses after it really shows just how bad he played that year
