Haas breaks. Bit of rust on Roger yet.

He definitely looks rusty, so he needs more matches.

Long game to see if Roger gets the break back. When Tommy was at 40-0. EDIT: He finally held.

Can't be that good if he has been broken twice already

Haas the better player on this for sure. Completely deserved if he gets the W.

What the hell Roger? Losing to a semi -retired player? It seems as though as his trend of losing only in the small tourneys continues, let's hope it doesn't stop.
Or he might be experiencing the Samson effect. Hahahahahaha

Maybe Roger should fly to Mallorca and ask Rafa to practice with him, LOL

For the people thirsty for Roger's tennis, this is a small put off. It's okay.

It's not the first time he's lost to Haas on grass, so not that big a shock except for Haas' current ranking. The loss though is why I said, when he skipped the French, that I hoped he wasn't putting all of his eggs in the Wimbledon basket. This is like the Donskoy loss at Dubai - never should have happened. He's still got Halle next week, but a 10-week layoff may have been too long.

He gets a little soft when he plays Haas especially these past few years. Halle will be important now, can't afford to go out early there.

:lol6: Well, if he's going to lose to these lower-ranked players - at least it's at small events and NOT at Masters and Slams. So hey, maybe this is harbinger of a Wimledon win...

I don't think it's a big deal at all for Roger. Obviously he would have liked to do better but there's no reason to be alarmed. That said, this is an incredible victory for Haas.
