Alexander Zverev guaranteed a seeding at Wimbledon. :good:

Some of the top guys will be relieved.
Agreed and I'd love to see these young guys in the final but I'm still waiting if they could make it.......

1. Djokovic
2. Murray
3. Federer

The shape Fed is in right now almost rules him out of contention unless we see a sharp upturn in mobility and dare I say confidence.

Can't see Raonic, Kyrgios or Wawrinka really harbouring much chance of winning here... a semi berth might be there best bet. If Thiem is fully fit, I'd give him a better chance than these guys... but Djoker and Murray are clear favourites.

I think Fed will play better next week as he is so comfortable at Wimbledon. But I doubt he can beat Djokovic.

Some great players at the Boodles Exhibition Tournament this week including Djokovic, Fognini, Simon, Kyrgios, Zvererv and Del Potro. The courts are superb and it's fabulous place if it would just stop raining for an hour or so! Worth checking their website as matches could be watched live last year.

It depends a bit on the draw, but I'm putting Murray over Djokovic at the moment. Murray is having a great year so far, one of his best, and this is the surface that I consider Djokovic worst (despite the three Wimbledon titles).

Clearly these are the two overwhelming favorites.

After them, I would put Raonic, and Federer.

Then the usual top 10 lot, Zverev and perhaps thiem. Del Porto as the dark horse and I'm sure cilic will do well here too. Kyrgios and tomic as very dark horses.

Is Boodles the private club where Nadal and Hewitt played before Nadal decided he wasn't ready for Wimbledon 2009?

It's a private club, courts at Stoke Park near Heathrow. Not sure about 2009 though. Nadal played last year and was going to play this year. Djokovic has played for several years.

Didn't realise the connection between Boodles tennis and the jewellers. They had a store in Liverpool.

On Wiki it says about the exhibition tournament...

Often described as an elegant English summer party around world class tennis, attendances are strictly limited to 1900 people per day to ensure every guest has a view of both the tennis and the jewellery on display.

Milos Raonic: The Emerging Threat Poised To Trouble Many At Wimbledon | UBITENNIS

Milos Raonic enters the upcoming Wimbledon Championships with a fresh burst of confidence following his run at the Aegon Championships.

“He’s beaten some top players in the slams. I would imagine that on the quicker courts, that he would always be there or about because of his game style and he is always willing to learn, trying to improve.” Murray said on Raonic’s Wimbledon chances.
“He gives himself more opportunities to get to the later stages of the grand slams more often than not, I would think.”

It's a bit like Royal Ascot with a lot of people there to be seen rather than to see the tennis!! But there are some true tennis lovers and with smaller courts you are up close and can see really well. I can't afford to go now - but well worth it for those with the money! plus I don't have any jewellery!

^^I had heard of him slightly, I like to see the "great Britain" players each week in the atp rank charts..going down to 1700 lol..

I was going to mention it but I couldn't quite remember his name..at 700 rank imagine if he won 3rd qual..and then got Djokovic 1st rd.

Goffin beat Djokovic today at the Boodles. He's been trending this year and has decent results at Majors over the last year. He's not a dark horse, but spoiler? He's got his rank up to #11.
