I think out of everyone when it comes to the greats Evert and Billie Jean always are in Serena's corner even if it doesn't come across that way. I know Evert can be nitpicky at times about Serena, but I always felt it came from an I want to see you achieve what I know you can achieve place.

Really? you can be that naive.

Really, she is always on TV talking about how Serena is the Greatest in her mind, so I shouldn't believe what I am hearing her say on TV? I do think Chris is a fan and admires Serena and her game. Trust me there are some that are obvious that it would kill them to actually have to admit that Serena is great Lindsay Davenport comes to mind, Mary Carillo for sure, and plenty of others. The ones I like and sincerely believe appreciate her are Chris and Billie Jean.

Again, you believe that if you want. However, I am with you that Billie appreciates Serena. From what i've seen so far from Davenport she's very fair when it comes to Serena and Venus. Evert is another story and don't even mention that menopausal woman Carillo. The hate oozes out of her when it comes to Serena and Venus. I just don't know how Serena can sit and speak with her so calmly.

Billie and Evert are fronting...you should all see the clip when Serena was walking upstairs going to the balcony Billie was the last person she hugged on her way to the balcony and the look on her face says it all.

It's the last time I am gonna address this ..KS is correct it's Martina N that may not be so happy about Serena breaking her records and who can blame her, she put up overall tennis numbers that are astounding. Everyone don't have to love you or be happy when you breaks their well earned records, IMO

If she was really interested or cared about Serena or a friend of Serena's that should have been a private conversation she should have had with Serena instead of publishing that shit in a magazine. People who care about you or call you a friend do not do shady stuff like that.

Pete Sampras regularly describes Rafa as "a beast." I often think both Rafa and Serena have an animalistic, almost primitive aspect in the scrap. None of this denigrates them, or put them down, nor is it anything for the PC fops to get their knickers in a bunch over. Because you're taking it literally. It's metaphorical. It's akin to saying somebody is fast as a bullet, slow as a snail, sleeping like a log, etc. If Venus plays "like a caged animal", it's testament to her scrapping qualities. Only somebody spoiling for trouble, or an ambulance-chaser, could see any sort of insult in this...

To be fair, it seems it doesn't take much to offend you.

Fact is, Evert stated gleefully on television that she would not mind Serena catching she and Martina, and was the first of the former professional to declare Serena as the GOAT!

As a pair, Serena and Venus, just now tied for the #2 spot (with Gigi and Natasha) with 14 GSs. Only Martina N and Pam have more with 20.

As an individual, they both are #5 on the list (Martina 31, Pam 21, Natasha 18, Gigi 17).

Katrina Adams is very supportive of the sisters...but I have noticed that she is always with another lady by her side all the time..is it a family member or her life partner.
