If someone choked, it doesn't take anything away from the winner. If Cilic choked, its his fault. Even Fed has choked in some matches of his life. Fed showed in the 5th set he deserved every bit.

Fed's botched a ton of 5 setters so he deserves to win a few too.

True, he inexplicably went flat in so many big 5 setters that this match, to me, feels almost out of character. He was playing some great tennis in the 5th set. Cilic choked in the 4th set but was playing well in the 5th. Going by highlights, Fed earned the break with some timely shot making. today was only a QF.

Not that anyone needs reminding....the many 5 set wounds that Fed fans keep licking:
First blood: the wound that never heals - Wimbledon 2008.
Rambo strikes again - AO 2009.
Still celebrating channel slam - USO 2009.
Rambo next - USO 2010.
Will I get a second break....point? - Wimbledon 2011.
Rambo still next - US 2011.
Happens - Wimbledon 2014

that's hyperbole of course, still they hurt.

2 exciting matches yesterday, great for a grass tourney which's usually very boring
Wimbly's improving this year, maybe because Nole's out and let others players show their tennis
