Cilic has NO IDEA what just happened...Zero...He is still thinking " Wait a minute...I outplayed the guy for 3 hours, why is he winning...???"

I wrote Roger off after the first set, the way things were going. My bad. Roger finds a way. Congrats.

And now you will have to cheer for Raonic like a good Canadian. :snicker

Cilic had three match points and basically chucked up his dinner. Embarrassing... :cover

I think he got aced in two of those but I am hearing you. This was his for the taking.

He had four, got aced in two, but on the other two he had to deal with very good second serves. Cilic did not choke, Federer shut the door on him.

I wanted Cilic to win because I really want Murray to win his 3rd Slam. Also, Murray has either Federer or Djokovic in ALL of his slam finals appearances so at point he has to be thinking, "When will I get a break?"

But on a serious note, great effort from Federer. He fought hard even though he wasn't playing his best tennis.

As for Cilic, his forehand let him down on those match points. He needed to hit a good forehand but he did not so he lost the tiebreaker and the match.

In shock. Fair play, Roger. You legend!

Told you he would win :p

Unfortunately I'm at work and couldn't watch the match, but I'm glad Roger won because the though of him losing another 5-setter at Wimbledon kinda made me want to heave...

He choked big time , 2 second serves on MP , also 3-3 in third 0-40 and 2 BP in the 4th both second serves didn't get a ball in play , even Courier on bbc was implying Cilic choked :-/

The game at 3-3 is one of the few I haven´t watched, so maybe in this case. In the others, as I said, the second serves were very good.

I just got off the plane and see I missed a lot since 2-2 in the third!! My oh my!!! Roger has come back from two sets down as much as anyone in history. What is this his tenth comeback two down? Cilic looked like New York 2014 Cilic to me, but I guess Roger fought back and won the key points. Anytime a player saves three match points that is stellar. He's done it, Novak, Rafael and most of the greats; they are clutch when it counts.

I certainly would not call it a choke. Cilic played quite well. He served big. His groundies were hard and fast. Cilic moved very well. The MPs he missed were not chokes, but good serves by Roger.

The double fault by Cilic in the 4th set TB is the only one that can be called as choke possibly. But, a DF happens in a long match somewhere. It is unfortunate for Cilic that it happened in the TB.

Now, I expect Roger to win against Raonic, but I am not so sure against Murray.

Cilic moved well apart from serving well. Raonic does not move well and also not very good at the net.

The 2 MP 2nd serves Cilic should be putting in play one out and one in the net for me he choked , as he was returning much better 1st and 2nd serves all match just let himself down on MP , and Goran's face said it all :nono
