Super excited for del Potro/Wawrinka. I want to see a full on delPo forehand into a Wawrinka backhand... but I'm afraid the ball would probably explode.

So far, all the QFs on both tours have been somewhat of a disappointment.

They seem like great match-ups; even with Roger missing, but it has been the lamest USO so far! The big excitement concerns the roof they can't seem to decide when to use it or not! The court invariably gets wet while they're deciding, re-open it too soon, then interrupt play multiple times! Idiots! Truly the worse SLAM! :cover :puzzled :nono

I did not see the first set, just tuned in the second and they say Nishi raised his level.

Kei stepped up and is playing a brave game. When playing Nole/Murray, you have to balance aggression and consistency, not self-explode first.

He's still one of the most careless players; missing shots for no reason! He had a sitter with Andy stymied at the net, ticked the net and went out! You just can't do this at this level; will always cost you eventually! Hard to believe in tennis that I can go back decades and come up with a point that turned it all around from a double fault, a brave 2nd serve ace, or a ticked net shot that jumps over a players racket at net to save MP! It happens all the time and Kei perpetuates those findings with his errors when under no pressure at the time! :nono  :cover

His demeanor changed suddenly, at the beginning of this third set, after Kei broke back.

3-3 and 3-4 was just mirror of each other, but totally in opposite direction.

2-1 in sets to Andy I'd take with the roof shut,if roof open Kei would have been blown away lol.

Andy is self destructing, but he has time to right the ship obviously.
