Sadly Novak lost, so I will have to take this win by Milos as a consolation prize

Sandy Novak I take it is his inbred redneck sister? Clearly she's not as good as her brother and hopefully she'll let him play next time.

I wrote that in the back of the car at 4am on the way home from 2 weeks in Latvia lol. Missed a load of tennis lately but glad to finally be home and looking forward to 2017 already.

I don't see Muzz losing this tournament, it would be very silly if he does

Agree with you, I guess King Andy'll take Bercy 2016

I think you're both being a bit disrespectful towards Cilic who beat him at Cinci and the courts at Paris are meant to be faster this year which favours Cilic actually more than Murray as he has way more firepower. Just compare Cilic's winner count to Djokovic's in their match.

Cilic is gone, which is disappointing, he'd been having a great late season burst. Big John is never gonna dazzle anyone with the great subtleties of the sport in a final, but he has a great attitude, and a servers chance. Good to see him do well here...

Isner in a masters final. Is it the second time? Just thinking what will be the fans' reaction if Isner pulls it off in the final. People expect Kei, Raonic and the like to win a masters anytime now. If Isner does it, it would be interesting.

Raonic has withdrawn from the second semi-final. Murray is new world no. 1.

A pity for Milos, and the fans, but good for Andy, well done! :clap :clap

Oh, thats a bummer for Raonic. Is it an injury?

Tbh I never thought Murray would ever be world no. 1. But I have been proved wrong. Even if Djokovic takes it back from him after WTF, Murray can get it back next year. Congrats Muzz!

Believe so. I'm pretty sure he defeated Novak in the SF of a North American HC tourney one year.

Indian Wells 2012 had him in the final. Are you talking about that?

Yep. That sounds right. He has a fighter's chance tomorrow, but Andy can break his serve. So we'll see how it goes.
