True. Now, with Nadal's withdrawal, his 3 spot is secure going into Wimbledon.

It does not matter whether one is ranked 3 or 4 as far as gaining advantage in draw is concerned and Fed is guaranteed of a top 4 seed independent of what happens in RG even if Rafa had won RG.

Of course it does not matter for Wimby seedings, I was not born yesterday.
But it does matter, for the perspective AFTER Wimbledon, for how long he will hang on to a top 4 position.

This is a great opportunity for Thiem to get semifinal experience so he can win FO next year. The stars are aligned for Djoke to complete the career GS.

The stars were aligned last year and even the year before that as well. You can only lead a horse to water and you cannot make it drink.
