I rather doubt it if she is texting a congrats to Kerber. Steffi was never one for pomp and circumstance especially since Serena's career has nothing to do with hers.

I do wish she was. I remember the question being asked a lot about the US Open when Serena was first chasing 22 last summer and it was an emphatic no. It would be nice to see her more at historic moments like this.

I doubt that Steffi will show up...its too far from Vegas, even if there is a cash incentive I doubt that she will feature in Melbourne.
I scratched my head a little when she said that pova should lead the tour...that was around the time Wozniacki was the number one ...Venus and Serena were active ,it was a suspect idea from her.
