Serena leads the series 16-3

We all know the dynamics in this rivalry. They've played twice this year in the last 2 months. Both matches went 3 sets and Vika had chances to win both (actually holding MP's in the Madrid contest).

If there is a way to win without holding match points, Vika will win.

Serena in two close sets, say something like 6-4 7-5. Serena knows the possible danger element here and so will be fully focused.

I think Serena knows given their last two meetings that she needs to be on it from start to finish.

Anyone have a streaming link I can use in the U.S. Listening to Wimbledon Radio but it's pretty dry.

A love hold. I'd say her serve looks pretty good to start

It normally takes a couple of games before that settles in

Well Serena's back to not moving her feet. She looks stiff. She needs to loosen up before this set gets away from her

I honestly thought after the game with Vee she'd be playing consistently well

No active player gives Serena as much trouble as Vika, so I'll give her one set, but Serena will win in three.
....on grass Serena has the edge...

I agree, especially when you factor in Serena's serve (which many consider to be the greatest of all-time), vs. Vika's ... um, not-so-greatest-of-all-time serve. :snicker ;)

In fact, now that I think about it while writing this, I should change my vote to Serena in two.

Is it too late to change it back to Serena in three? ;)

Vika got the first set, but I still think Serena will win.
