This "rivalry" is now the ATP Serena Williams v Maria Sharapova.

Nice way to drill the match point. Mighty impressive by Novak today.

This is the way I always believed he could play. He didn't get passive when Murray was pressing, just kept at it and turned on the offense when the opportunity presented itself.

This is the only thing that will happen if you come up against Djokovic in full flight and then proceed to hand over gift after gift by serving like a donkey. Hopefully the final will be more interesting.

Novak is at his very peak of his career and he can demolish number #2 this way, that is reflected in this score, therefore the gap in the ranking points is well justified.

You've been given a chance to laugh at Murray and give it the "I told you so" yet, not for the first time, you take it too far by exaggerating the situation. It's 11 years (?) since Maria beat Serena, not even that many weeks since Murray last beat Djokovic.

I still think Andy needs to get Lendl back... at least to prep him for slams. It's nothing like the girls' rivalry, and probably won't ever be.

11 years, fair enough. Murray's won 1 of the last 10 matches against Novak. It wasn't like this before which is why I said now. Aside from the anomaly of Toronto, it's one way traffic.

In fairness to Andy, it's been one-way traffic against both Roger and Nole since Lendl left...

Just saw the stats TF7 - Andy's first serve percentage was 46. That's bad.

I'm not ready to give upon him yet. Would like to see him get the Davis Cup and one more Slam.

Overall this is a good year for Andy. If he finishes #2, that will be the first time for him.

Yeah. There are been some puzzling losses, but Australian Open runner-up, Madrid Masters and Montreal Masters, FO and Wimby SF, first two clay titles, 4 titles in all this year, a potential Davis Cup, first to to finish the year at No. 2, and oh yeah he got married and he's expecting a kid.

Not a bad year!
