If the Bulls manage to lose this series it will haunt them for years to come. On top of Love's injury and Smith's 2 game suspension you've had Lebron shooting < 40% and turning it over like crazy. Also it seems like Kyrie's ankle seems to be a serious issue. Given all that this shouldn't even be a series.

What in the heck can the Bulls do when the refs are controlling the tempo.. ahhh.. I am tired of bitching

They were up by 11 with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter. They didn't score for 6 minutes after that. The refs missed some calls but you can't blame it entirely on them. Too often the Bulls' offense gets stagnant when they're leading. They let the Cavs back in it despite the fact that they were shooting terribly.

its true.. the offense does have a habit of going stale.. My thoughts is because the Bulls needs some on the low post to provide some scoring , that's where they miss Pau.. its as simple as this , if Pau is healthy and can contribute , they have an opportunity to steal game 5, if not the series will be over game 6 in Chicago or seven in Cleveland, LBJ will not loose game seven

Not the best defense by JB but this game was totally controlled by the worst group of refs EVER.. David Blatt called a timeout when the Cavs had zero left which is an automatic technical foul.. Drose was fouled numerous of times and the refs haven't been consistent. However, all that anyone remembers is LBJ getting fouled by Noah under neat the rim:nono..Is it just me or does anyone else notice that EVERYtime Lebron drives to the basket against JB, he is leading with his arm extended on the defender but the refs aren't gonna make that call. Finally, Noah missed how many layoffs today, 6 or 7.. :nono.. He needs to be in only when defending a lead, he is a complete liability on offense. I know the Bulls is gonna loose this series, its a shame:nono

That's not accurate AP. Blatt didn't call a timeout. The refs did when they decided to go review an out of bounds play. It gives both teams a free timeout to gather while the refs sort out the call and fix the clock. I agree w/ Jackson and Van Gundy. It needs to be stopped. If the refs are reviewing a call, the players need to stay on the floor and not be handed a gift.

All of that aside, even though the Cavs shot twice as many foul shots as the Bulls, Bulls still had a chance to win this one and choked. At the end, they were given ample opportunities w/ the offensive fouls called on Lebron and they still couldn't make the necessary plays to secure the go-ahead bucket. Most of this game looked like the old Bulls team where Rose had to do all the scoring and get everyone their shot. The bench was largely absent in scoring and they only have themselves to blame.

KS, I am correct, Blatt attempted to call a time out but the ref was standing right in front of him and didn't acknowledge, somehow the assistant coach Lue was able to pull the coach arms back but it was well afterwards Blatg are the hand signal for a time out.

That's all the commentators are discussing is the time out that was called illegally

Cavs in the process of blowing this game. Just atrocious defense in the 4th. A 16 point lead is far from having the game in the bag in the playoffs.

Looks like they'll hold on. Lebron was hitting some jumpers tonight and didn't have the careless turnovers. Almost impossible to stop when that happens

Nothing against Blackbeard and Superman but I'm thinking the Clips sink their pirate ship tonight.

I've watched enough NBA to know that they will rarely call travels. With that said some of the ones they've missed tonight (in both games) are appalling even for their standards. They might as well just change the rule to 5 steps and say "screw the pivot foot" so the refs don't look so stupid when they miss the blatant travels.

Great half from Houston, really defending as well as can be expected. With Jordan out with foul trouble it really makes it tough for the Clips to defend the paint.

Well, the refs didn't see it because they were at the scorer's table and his coaching staff caught him in time. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Like I said, the bigger issue is the free TO generated whenever the refs review a call.

I saw a ref underneath the basket and that weasel just swallowed his gutless whistle

Bulls made a very admirable run at the end, but just too much fantastic defensive efforts by LBJ and the role players. It's time for the Bulls to dig deep, look at ways to attack the Cavs defense and realize, they are not the Warriors. They have got to forego the three and shoot the ball inside the arc. I think this will go 7 if they want to attempt to keep their coach and quit playing down to the level of the Cavs defense. Just can't let one man defeat a team, if not it's a shame
