Sign of a great player, coming up with good serves when in trouble. Roger is still sloppy. He made those DTL backhands all week, now he cannot buy one.

Chalk some of that up to going for too much knowing who's on the other side of the net. People did that against him for years. Always = easy points.

That's true. Plus, as Denisovich pointed out, Novak's serve is consistently getting him out of trouble, which hasn't always been the case. (I won't break out the Todd Martin video. )
