I'd be surprised if anybody is surprised that Andy could beat Kei...

That game looked more like the Kei we've seen this week. Nice to watch him punishing Murray.

If Kei plays like last year there's no chance Murray will win and a good chance Nadal won't either.

Christ Front, it doesn't even matter if I am right or wrong, you wouldn't agree with me even on gunpoint lol. Let's see what happens.

Lol, wouldn't go that far but my point was simply that Kei was great here last year and barring injury was likely beating Rafa in two. His serve is a huge liability though. Can't even watch it here. Not at home and no streams are working on 2 different tablets:/

Well, if you are interested Murray is looking to crack Nishi's service games completely and has looked very solid, despite what some people have been saying. I just don't see Kei taking this one. And as I said before, the samurai just goes for too much at times.

Murray leads 6:3 and 4:3, just a moment ago Nishikori saved a break point.

If Kei is serving badly he hasn't a prayer and he serves badly a lot. I read all this talk of him having a great serve but his great serving days are very scarce and usually he hits a fair few double faults and dumps games out of nowhere. Will be home tomorrow and able to watch the final at least!

From what I was able to see from him, he isn't quite on the level he was last year. Murray is pressuring him a lot from the baseline, and simply outplaying him. On top of that, he isn't having a good serving day.

Hi Moxie,as for Not top drawer Nishikori today,i don't think Andy let him play his game.Andy return on his serve was very good, not many can do that.IE take the short points under 5 shots that Andy won.Nadal will be fav for the final,i hope Andy gets a set & plays good tennis.:)

This about sums it up. Murray would have been tough no matter how Kei played, but he did not bring his A-game today.

I realized how that might sound, and not intended that way. I definitely think that Andy prevented Kei from playing his best. But he didn't help himself with his serving. Anyway, really aggressive and smart by Murray, and he picked up his 1st serve pct a lot in the 2nd. He knew what he had to do today, and he did it. Nishikori didn't.
