It was dark and lonely in the Murray-Ferrer thread so I came back over.

Novak hasn't won the first set yet? :cover

About time he executed one good drop shot but I actually wish Novak would stop hitting that shot. Too many get run down and smacked right back.

Novak was up 4-0?! Ouch.

ESPN3 has it streaming, although who knows for how long.

Had my doubts he'd hold there having failed to break the game before but good job, Novak.

I think it is more important for Novak to grab the first set (especially after leading 4-0) as
otherwise doubts will start arising in his mind.

I think Rafa might get a be careful what you wish for. I bet all the umps start enforcing it more on him.

There's no doubt about that. I still think given what's happened if Nole loses this set he will unravel quickly.

Yeah, the crowd wasn't quieted down yet, so maybe it wasn't the best timing. But you gotta figure the other umpires have to be pissed at his shenanigans.

That what makes this match so interesting for me. We'll get to see if Novak has a real champions mentality. There are no technical issues that cause him problems against Rafa. This is purely in his head at this specific venue

I think doubts have already started, which is the problem. Novak is clearly playing at a higher level at this point in their respective careers, but he needs to forget "this is Rafa at Roland Garros."
