Crikey. Is that gonna be your reply to every post from now on? "And Rafa got thumped by..."

Hell yes.

That's better than the one I tried to reply to about 3 minutes ago. ;)

Everybody loses sometime, Rafa has nine of these things, we have no complaints...

Exactly. And to finally beat the King of clay so handily on his beloved terre battue, it is wonderful for all of us who suffered as the losing streak climbed to 0-6. But to see Novak soaring in that third set, having finally banished those demons once and for all - that was priceless.

Onto the big one on Friday. Murray has a real chance in my opinion, I think he's in the state of mind to play his best tennis against Djokovic who has all the pressure to deal with now.

Congrats TF7 (and all Andy fans).

I agree with you that Ferrer has lost something. I disagree that all the pressure is on Novak. Today a huge weight has been lifted off his back, and that last set he was simply flying. Murray is playing incredibly well and has a great chance, but I am pretty sure he will be feeling the pressure too.

He can hope for a flat Novak like the one he faced in the Wimbo final, but Rafa never came close to pressing him the way DP did that year. Looking forward to a competitive match.

You are not only wrong but naive in saying he has no pressure. This is his best chance with both Nadal and Federer out. Remember Federer 2009?

Just finished my two-hour morning power nap. Awoke to the fresh smell of morning, the sweet feeling of a Murray victory in the French Open quarterfinals, and the heavy weight of my four-year-old son sitting on my head.
