I like Kerber and her brand of defence,became a fan when she beat pova at Wimbledon.I love how she redirects the ball with good placement and its easy to see that she is thinking...she wins by her superb defence and very few errors..she lets her opponents hang themselves..:clap

I expect her to make it to the quarter or semis on grass if she doesn't have to face the Williams sisters

Nothing on Hingis quietly winning again in doubles! What is that 5 or 6 titles with MX at Aussie Open! Anyone hear anything else about her returning to singles once again? She didn't win much at all in Fed Cup in those relegation matches, but obviously got them back in the World Group through doubles play! Will have to go look up the record!

She played two singles in Fed cup and lost both (one of them to slumping Aga and another one
Aga's sister). She did not actually play in doubles.

She has no intention of coming back in singles. In fact, she has told that she won't play singles
again, even in Fed cup.
