Ok so 6-2 6-0...am I insane in saying Berdych is playing just "good"?

Bird is good for sure, and smart.

Rafa on the other hand...

Still ain't over though. I maintain, 3-4 good games in a row from rafa can change things but does he have it in him today at all?

lol, it's over.

1 hour into this match and Rafa is being blown away by Berdy, now down 2 sets.

Did anyone pick Berdy in straights?

Anyone seriously thinking about a comeback, forget the players. Just watch what's going on. Does Nadal look a player who can come back? He's not even moving for these balls right now. I legitimately think this will be a 6-1 maybe 6-2 set.

Worst part is Nadal hasn't forced Berdych to play well in order to break serve (and he's done it 5 times already). Yeah, Berdcyh is playing well enough behind his own serve, at least in the second set. He's serving smart and going after his shots. But, aside from those back-to-back returns in the last game of the second set, Berdych really hasn't had to do ANYTHING on Nadal's serve.

He we go; even the commentators are giving him an out! He will not let this stand! Rafa will make a run; seen it all too often! This is BS; don't believe it yet! :s :eyepop

What the hell did I just tune into? Is Nadal sad because he can't smoke Federer again in the semi or something?

Gotta do my homer thang and pick Berdych. Gotta break through sometime. Might as well be now. Let's win this thing. Easy as 3-6-1.

Were you having a crystal ball when you posted it ? :p

Wait, Nadal moved well, constructed a point, and finished with a forehand winner? What kind of sorcery is this?

It's funny. Rafa plays 3 good rallies in a row and you can clearly see why this match-up is so tough for Berdych...then you look at the scoreline.

It also hurts Nadal in these matches that he can't rely on his defense to stay in them the way he used to, and sort of just hang in there until finding his game.

I never believe it's over with Nadal until it actually is... but hey, this is going to take a comeback of mammoth proportions.

Well at least Rafa is forcing Berdych to play well now. Yes, I've resorted to moral victories.
