federberg, that's why he could be frustrating to watch as fan. Because we know he could be an aggressive player when he wants to be but the problem is he doesn't follow his instincts enough. Sometimes, he trust his tennis brain too much that he gets too defensive and gets beaten by more an aggressive player.

Went to bed at 3:45am, was still awake at 4:45 when the missus had to get up for work and got up at 8. Have to go to the gym later to do legs and back too 'cos I didn't go there yesterday. :s Getting tired now and this match is pretty poor viewing but I want to watch it till the end :dodgy:

So you're saying one final versus another is a good comparison? In general the WTA matches have far more breaks and that's a fact. Kvitova's matches are usually 6-2 2-6 6-2 or something like that. I've seen 6-1 1-6 6-0 recently in the last few weeks from other players.

yes I agree. When he first came on tour, he would play these long bamboozling rallies, but he would suddenly impart some serious pace on the ball. I loved it. Then he just settled into this attritional style which works against the also-rans. It even worked against Roger in early rounds. When you get to a final, you HAVE to take it. And if you're programmed yourself to get by with this hack nonsense you'll never be able to do the other naturally :nono
