So the Stan smith group is No. 1 Federer, No. 2 Djokovic. Stan will beat Andy and face Fed in one SF while Nadal will play Nole in the other. Maybe we'll see some good matches.

I think Stan will win tomorrow. He got the bit between his teeth against little beast, and I think the momentum will carry him a sequel to last years Crybaby war with Federer...

Muzza and Stan the Man's first meeting since Stan became a Slam champion. Last meeting was 2013 USO QF, which Stan won in straight sets and had Murray doing this.

Stan wins in straights and the Murrays can get the heck on over to Ghent.

LOL, what about a picture of Stan's reaction if he would lose?

Three member of big four are in. Will the fourth join?

I did not realize that it has been that long since Andy played against Stan.

This is one of the exact reasons I cannot stand Murray.

Murray and Wawrinka haven't played since 2013? That's kind of surprising. Given that they're BOTH head cases? I'm going with Stan. Murray just seems to be phoning it in at this tournament. Maybe he's mentally preparing himself for changing nappies - and I mean his soon-to-be born kid's, not his his own. Murray's last 2 Tour Finals have been underwhelming to say the least. Last year he was at least on the combe back trail, but what's his excuse this year - other than lack of a spine...

Davis Cup  He's already in Ghent. His body just needs to catch up.

Just finished watching Roger's match with Nishikori and I'm reminded of how back in the day Tiger Woods used to rate his game - A - F style. Roger won with his B-\C+ game. Didn't serve worth a crap and still won. The sad thing is - I think that's as well as Nishikori can play. No wonder none of these young guys can win a Grand Slam. The old guy, 9 years his senior, served 54%, hit 54% of his shots with his worst stroke, took 5 games in the 2nd set off...and you still lose? Time to grow a pair, Kei, since you can't grow 3" taller so you can serve better...

Watching Djoker play yesterday, he feels so melancholic, just waiting year to end. No control of shots, they went all around.

He will need to step up if want to win Nadal.

Okay, so you're Rafa Nadal, and you know you have to play Djoker less than 24 hours after this match against Ferrer ends. Do you:

1. Keep up the momentum and try your best?

2. Dial it back a notch, treat this as practice?

I think he'd be wise to maintain his level, while also throwing in a few random things, like charging the net more, aiming bigger off the ground. I don't think it's ever wise for a player to just go through the motions...

Nadal doesn't seem to have a problem with endurance or fatigue right now. He needs to keep up the intensity he has been building up for the last month or so. Go all out, blow Ferrer off the court, get another boost in confidence and be rip-roaring ready for tomorrow's match.
