Poor old Ralph, and I missed it. Still struggling to find his range?

A setback in the Nadal camp! WOW! Andy Murray LAST WEEK, now someone ranked #127 in Berrer!

At least he's getting better.

^I bet not. I don't remember the last time I saw an heavyweight playing in the week before a slam.

I didn't get the hate GSM got for his comment following Nadal's loss to Murray. I agree (and I stated as much) that saying "it doesn't bode well for 2015" is kind of a stretch, but it sure as hell doesn't bode well for Rafa's first slam of the year, which begins in about 2 weeks. Now, this kind of loss is unlikely to happen at a slam in a best of 5 on hards, but it's safe to say as of now, Nadal is not among the favorites to win. This could change as the tournament gets deeper if he improves and gets a few confidence-building wins, but it's looking bleak. I still think he'll make the QF, or even the semis though, and based on form and opponent, we can assess it from there.

Also, in before "Rafa always sucked on slow hards."

The opposition has hope and new life with Rafa's vulnerability! Another qualifier took him out; WOW! :nono  :dodgy:

PS: Rafa needs to find his serve ASAP. There's a reason he was so shaky last year and it's not simply due to confidence. When you're not feeling good about your game, the serve goes a long way in bailing you out on certain points and help you loosen up. When you're serving poorly AND have no confidence in your ground game, it can't yield good results. Hence bad losses, even on clay, to Spanish jobbers. No offense.

We were teasing GSM, there was no hate. His comment came with a huge dollop of hope-it's-true attached, which I don't mind. We're all fans of somebody...

Well, let's see what Ferrer and DeBakker will do. The place is completely empty after that Rafa match.
