This is pathetic. Sorry Novak fans but Wimbledon appears to have been a fluke :(

Different surface, different opponent, different day. Djokovic and Murray often play it some version of this.

Murray has hit many good forehands...but he's also hit many bad ones. It's not like it's been out of this world good. Djokovic's movement and defense is out of this world and that's the difference right now, he can attack Murray a lot better than vice versa.

Talking about him being ahead in every single set, barely winning the first in a TB that he should've won 6-2, losing the 2nd in a TB when he could also have won it 6-2 and struggling to hold his lead here. Back to his inability to back up breaks.

Andy mutters to himself, gets after himself, and some folks complain. Monfils does the same, in French, and folks seem to think it's cute. Hmmm?

Different matchup. For starters Murray can return serve unlike a certain opponent in the Wimbledon final

Is it your logic that nobody should ever be broken against Murray, one of the best returners in the game? It seems to be, you said the same thing about Tsonga being "pathetic" for losing leads of a single break when they were around 3-1 in the opening set. I don't see how you can claim that Nole should have won the opening set 6-2, he faced break points in 4-5 of his 6 service games...

Thankfully all he has to do is beat Murray, a developing player, and a hasbeen to win the title.

True but even so Novak shouldn't be failing to back up all these breaks so often.

Then perhaps it's one of his tragic flaws, and one, by implication, he can overcome, if a player exploits it. But it doesn't make 2014 Wimbledon a "fluke."
