Nadal leads the H2H record 17-3 and has won its last 16 matches against Berdych.

I pick Nadal in two tight sets.

Boy, this reminds me of the 16-2 "rivalry" that we saw this morning.

Only 1 result is possible here and I pick it to happen in 2 sets.

Berdych can never ever beat Rafa

Rafa in 3? After tonight, I think rafa wins, but I am not sure whether it will be pretty or not. Could very well take three sets, if he plays like today.

Playing Berdych is different for Rafa than playing Raonic. I don't see that anything changes, especially given his general form at this tournament. Rafa in straights, even if one goes long.

Clay Warrior in 2!!!

He'll grunt and fist pump his way to another routine win over poor Birdy.

Generally I agree but his matches at Indian Wells and this against raonic haven't been good enough for what should be a routine knock out of Berdy.

If he plays the entire match like the third set, then it should be a routine two, I am just not positive he will. You could very well be right though.

Well, he's played most of the tournament the way he played the third set. And yes, big server Raonic troubled him, so why shouldn't Berdych? But Berdych, who beat Dolgopolov by being sturdy, won't beat Rafa by just being steady. However much trouble Raonic was, he didn't win and Berdych won't win with the same skills. IMO.

I dont think Berd will win. I just think it may take 3.

Berdy is gonna remember the WTF, when he won an easy set against Rafa.

Rafa's gonna remember it too: Rafa in beatdown straights...
