Nadal leads the H2H record 17-3 and has won its last 16 matches against Berdych.
I pick Nadal in two tight sets.

Playing Berdych is different for Rafa than playing Raonic. I don't see that anything changes, especially given his general form at this tournament. Rafa in straights, even if one goes long.

Generally I agree but his matches at Indian Wells and this against raonic haven't been good enough for what should be a routine knock out of Berdy.
If he plays the entire match like the third set, then it should be a routine two, I am just not positive he will. You could very well be right though.

Well, he's played most of the tournament the way he played the third set. And yes, big server Raonic troubled him, so why shouldn't Berdych? But Berdych, who beat Dolgopolov by being sturdy, won't beat Rafa by just being steady. However much trouble Raonic was, he didn't win and Berdych won't win with the same skills. IMO.
