2014 NBA Finals: Miami vs. San Antonio

This game was not just about LeBron breaking down physically at the end. It was also about Miami insisting on doing help defense. San Antonio does not have elite 1-on-1 offensive talent. If you just stay at home and avoid double-teaming anyone, then they will turn the ball over. If you double or over-rotate, then they will find the open man.
San Antonio's run started with Wade dropping too low into help and leaving Green wide open for a three.

^ Good points. Certainly not having Lebron in there hurt the defense a lot on the perimeter. They broke down off the dribble easier and weren't rotating at all. The Spurs were hitting all their shots but tons of them were uncontested at the end.

With the broken AC, players probably lost more water than they usually do and Bron's issue might be related to that.
I expect a better Miami next match but I expect Pops to prepare the Spurs better as well. Less TO's , that's for sure.

On another note, I was checking magazines in a store and I saw this special edition Newsweek magazine, which was dedicated to Jordan. A 90 page, high quality magazine with a lot of cool photos and stories. $10 or so. I bought it. If you like the guy, this is a nice piece of memorabilia to have. To me, he is the best.

MIA getting torched on the 3pt line. In the 1st half Parker was getting whatever shot he wanted. They finally put Lebron on him, but the superior passing of the Spurs is creating mismatches for the Heat. 93-92 SA w/ 2.25 left
