And that's it. Murray's got the break. That's the match. Ugh.

Triple match point. Another heartbreaking loss for Verdasco. But, it's on him. He should have been stronger mentally. And Murray takes the first one. He's got a 5th straight Wimbledon semi.

Well... here's to Janowicz coming up with some sort of special upset (never gonna happen).

Congrats to Fernando Verdasco, he played an incredible match. Too bad he came just short, Murray was a little bit better today. Hopefully Janowicz will silence centre court, otherwise No1e will.

OK, next time Fernando you make sure you close him out. Don't waste those BP chances.

Tale of the match is what it usually is though. Verdasco hit too many errors. Way too many errors. At least 40 unforced. Just taking too big of a cut most of the time.

Just got home and amazed to see Verdasco playing so well. Can't believe he won the first 2 sets and lost. Mostly I can't believe he won 2 sets! Crazy guy. From his worst patch of play in a long time to this. Great tournament for Verdasco and Murray lives on to see another day. Congrats to him although I'm hoping Janowicz serves another 30 aces on Friday like he did today.

On a side note, Judy Murray's fake tan is absolutely hideous and reminded me of this.

Great match from both players! What a championship resolve from Murray. He truly has come a long way. A few years ago, he probably would have lost the match.

LOL! It was dramatic. Congrats to Murray. What a courageous, hard-fought win.

Verdasco is also to be praised for such a terrific showing. Never thought I would see him get this far at Wimbledon, so well done.

No doubt Andy will have to up his game. He didn't play well in the first 2 sets. I think the fact that he hadn't played a left-handed player all year hurt him. Credit to Verdasco though. He played some fantastic tennis. His serve was unreal.

I wonder if Verdasco is another player set to have an "Indian Summer" in his career. He played amazingly well today. I could have done without the pressure on my heart, but I'm generally happy to see Fernando on such good form. And I hope this match shook Murray up in just the right way.

I must congratulate Verdasco for having a good Wimbledon tournament.I never thought he would push Murray to
five sets.
I must say Verdasco's Hair defies all sense of Gravity as well:)
Oh well Murray onwards to the s/final.

I think Andy will look back at this match as the turning when he hoists the trophy Sunday. Granted Verdasco is normally a mental midget in matches like these, but Murray flat out won this one.

to win
Congrats to both players for this thrilling match

one last thought from my side for Verdasco: while it must hurt like hell to go out after being up 2-0, i think he should see this tournament as a great step forward (or: back to where he once was).

when he took the first set, i thought "we might have our old Fernando back". when he took the second, i wondered if this wasn't the old, but a brand new one. now we know it's probably not a new one, but it could be the old guy, a true top ten player.
