Nole is in devastating form. I would be happy as long as Youzhny does not
bleed out of self inflicted injuries (remember Miami). Come on Youzhny, you
don't have to injure yourself. Nole will do it for you.

I accidentally voted for Mikhail in 4 as I was thinking he'll win one set. I meant Nole in 4. But I'm not sad if Mikhail in 4 will happen.

The atp site has been doing statistical analysis prior to the matches. Worthwhile read.

God. Novak has been so lucky this draw. This will be another straights, I think.

He's been lucky this tournament. The actual draw was probably the toughest, but all the tough people got knocked out.

Yeah, both Nadal and Djokovic's draws opened up pretty nicely. If Murray gets knocked out by Wawrinka they'd both have had arguably the easiest paths to the final in their careers (incidentally, Nadal's run to the final in 2010 saw him "overcome" quite an easy draw as well).

I think it will be in 4. Has Nole really been tested this tournament to accurately evaluate his form? The Murray or Wawrinka match will be a better harbinger I think.

Yes, he gets some crappy players in each and every round while the Spaniard has to battle all the former US Open winners.

Still a tougher path than Nadal has had to go through. Stan is clearly in better form than Gasquet and figures to be fresher.

Novak in straights, but I expect the mad doctor might have a chip on his shoulder watching all the former USO champs go out to lower ranked players.

Well, two lobs later, Nole loses the point, but I bet that wasn't any fun for Mikey to run those down

The doctor holds his serve and makes a great call to stop play on that point at AD out.

What a miss opportunity from Youzhny to break back in the second set.

Also, the wind really does bother Djokovic's game.

The good thing is that tonight while it may be affecting his game it's not affecting his demeanor on court.

The US Open is probably the windiest tennis tournament ever. It seems like every year (or day) there's always a strong breeze inside the court.

These long points, even when Doc wins them, he's paying with all the mileage Novak has him covering
