hopefully the occasional shower will get out of the way early doors and we can have a 3hr window of play.

Lendl/McEnroe played 37 times, so yes -- 3 more and Nadal/Djokovic will tie; 4 more and they will have played the most in the Open Era.

Urgh, if I hear commentators exclaiming one more time how surprising it was that Nadal and Djokovic, as well as Federer and Djokovic played against each other more than Federer and Nadal...

It's simple. For a long time, Federer and Nadal were ranked 1 and 2 and could only play in finals. Novak was ranked number 3 and faced them in god knows how many semis. It's not that difficult to explain why.

Anyway, looks like it's going to be one of those frustrating days where we never know when the final will start, if at all.

In a Sky Sports interview, Borg just said Rafa is the greatest clay-court player of all time. He may have said that before (I don't remember), but it caught my attention.

This British SkySport people are pathetic in half an hour they didn't mention No1e, there's only 1 finalist for them.

Yes Broken.. the dry courts does maximize Rafa's fh and overall game.. Folks.. it will always be this way.. these two when they are both healthy.. I feel a better rivality than Sampras\Agassi because Pete really won all the big matches that really mattered , imo

First break to Nole...

And nice that he backed it up too by holding serve after that tricky service game.

Nadal avoids the doughnut but he's still in all kinds of trouble

Come on Nole! One down, one to go

Court conditions working into Nadal's favour now though
