Why no more watering of the court?

They water between sets, no? There is no more between...but there might be a rule that says after umpteen games you water the court...I don't know.:puzzled

One more point for rafa for crazy defending. Nole still holds...Nole talking to the director about something...

last couple of my posts disappeared...?

Djokovic blew it at 4-2. He never should have allowed the gnat to stay in the match at that point.

Wow. What a match. Congratulations to Nadal for winning his eighth Roland-Garros, I mean going to the final again. ;)

Poor Djoker - what a disappointment. He's going to be brooding over that hit net for some time.

WOW, unbelievable match! I never saw their whole match down under but this is definitely my favorite match between the two. Just an unbelievable effort from the king of clay.

Its a bit rough calling losing to Nadal in the French Open "blowing it." Djokovic played an amazing match, but in the end he couldn't hang with Nadal. I think he was exhausted and just couldn't keep up.

I have to give major props to Nadal. I thought he was down and out earlier and he battled all the way back and then held his serve in the sudden death

If that's your definition, then there was alot of blowing it. Novak wouldn't have been in the 5th set if Nadal hadn't blown it when he served for it in the 4th.

Congrats to Rafa. He fought hard, defended like only he can, and pulled it off. His forehand was clicking too.

There is no doubt that Nole did not bring his best today though. His biggest weapon for me is the DTL backhand that opens up the court, and that let him down today. He played good in spurts, showed great heart during important moments, but never sustained it. He will be upset with himself.

VAMOS, RAFA! Incredible match.

Congrats also to Novak for playing so amazingly. A true epic.

Now I hope the Rafa fans on here are generous and considerate of the Djokovic fans, and how they must feel right now.

Bitter, bitter Cali...go and cry us a river. The same happened to Nadal at the AO 2012. This time it was the other way around, that's life, that's sports. Deal with it and stop being such a sore loser. Congrats to Nadal, greatest warrior I've ever seen in any sports. I feel sorry for Djokovic though but his time at RG will come.

Cali has a point. That was the critical game. if Novak had gone to 5-3 then Nadal would have either be serving or receiving to stay in the match - which brings it's own set of pressures.

It should have been over in the 4th

The reason Novak's backhand wasn't that good today it's because Nadal's forehand was jumping like crazy; sunny weather at RG means lights out. Period!

BTW, all the BS about Rafa not moving as well or even sub-par was proven to be just that BS. His defense in the 5th specially was out of this world, that's Rafa going all out.

Now I wonder, when britbox will pick Rafa to win a big match or even a big tournament? Maybe this upcoming SW19?

where were you when Rafa failed to serve for the match? I know, calling Novak a warrior with lions heart. Maybe Nadal was the warrior in that particular game
